C-Realm Part Two: Being Broken

KMO asks me about psychedelic substances; it took me into new places regarding the correlation between being a vessel (shaman), and first having to be broken as a person.

That is sure how it feels.

I've never thought of it quite like that, Jason - being a shaman is being a vessel - but I think you've got a good point there.

You certainly do have to be broken, first.

I'll go listen to the C-Realm podcast when I have a spare moment.

Synchronistically the subject I've been pondering on lately.

Re: the vessel analogy. You have to be emptied out before you can be a hollow vessel.

I think the emptying out involves identity deconstruction. Perhaps you have to lose what you thought you were or have it ripped from you, before you can truly be a hollow vessel.

Just thoughts.
