Alchemical Dada: Recruiting for the End Times

As Leonard Cohen said, poetry isn't an occupation, it's a verdict. Same applies for whatever the Hell I am doing, or not-doing, with the latest podcast!

Create a new art form? Very highfalutin, that. To remove the interpretative distance or filter that comes between the audience and my own unconscious? Wearing my soul on my podcast?

Trying out new forms of mind control, neuro-linguistic programming, or magikal recruitment for the end times??

You be the judge.

The title is WE ARE ALL SHAMANS-IN-TRAINING By Paul Levy

If that link doesn't open, you can just go to the URL up to the com/ point, and click on that article. It relates to some of what you've been talking about of late...

Enjoyable Aeolus, it keeps the subconscious interested, play, what magick is supposed to be about.

I wonder if putting a 'theta' or 'delta' carrier signal embedded in it. You know using 'headphones' is another way for this technology?

Interesting site, Zane, Dreaming, dreamtime seem to be an Australian, spiritual concept. Right now Australia is burning, is it a sign of what's coming for the rest of us?

Zane's' link.

Stellar presentation Aeolus, I love it.

The same link that zane posted was provided on the last thread. I checked it and it does work. Check him out AK, Paul Levy is a fellow traveler.

I can admit to being a left-brain thinker, yet I have great wonder at right-brain potentials. I concluded long ago that left brain intellectual constructs were fraudulent to the core. But, this was done through left brain rational constructs, so left brain is still good for something. At any rate, perhaps owing to some deficiency in my wiring, I never had much appreciation for poetry until I ran across the work of William Blake (kind of late in the game in this respect). Poetry often seemed gratuitous and trite, or it was so jumpy that I could not follow it. I am glad I get it better now than when I was younger, but it seems best for me to cheer the right-brain savants on, from the sidelines. And Man; Aeolus, the time, effort and skills it took to produce this podcast, -very impressive indeed.

An early bit that caught my ear was where AK mentioned that the left and right brain aspects work well each on their own, but not well together. Good call here, and one may then wonder if the next level of evolution involves the coming to full functioning of the corpus coliseum. Then, one may ask, functionally speaking, what is it that will light up the bridge neurons of the corpus coliseum? I maintain that this happens when we internalize a new set of forms (a left-brain construct) that provides respect for enthusiasm (en-Theo) and thereby creates a dynamic relationship between psyche and reality.

Not however, a place of priority as the sorcerers seem to demand, but a position of equality and balance with the Law (repetition). Then we may get over this dualistic tendency to invest good in one category and bad in another. We may instead realize that polarity resides within each category rather than between categories.

thanks Sounder, and good call on that detail of the show, which was very much the Key...

AK, i trust that you note the irony of John de Ruiter's position as Guru. I mean, he agrees to act as a filter on reality for his followers and in turn his followers filter outsider involvement in his own unfolding. What a deal.

I read the Levy piece and was impressed by it. less impressed by his mode of delivery on red Ice, however. Quite hard-edged, doesn't seem to be in the flow of ideas so much as pushing them from a place of identity. Spiritualized ego? His ideas are excellent and well enough phrased; but his actual delivery is somehow off-putting.

Sounder: JDR has allowed himself to be turned into something but he himself seems pretty devoid of airs or intentions. I got the impression he would pretty much go along with anything provided it didn't actually interfere with his own work, which appears to be on the subtler levels. I hear he even lets them groom him, dress him etc (not literally, but choose his "look"). He is very passive, at a personal or mundane level. Maybe he is just biding his time.

At a level of galactic consciousness, what is occurring down here in the trenches, at a personal, mundane level, might well seem so minor as to be almost irrelevant, don't you think?

Not to justify or defend JDR - i found it quite frustrating attending the meetings myself, because he just lets people talk and talk, no matter how self-indulgently. But I also found it was enough just to be in proximity to JDR, and observe him, to receive something of value.

I've never heard of John de Ruiter before, I must be behind the times or living under a rock. Can someone give me a quick run down on who he is and what sort of research he does?

BTW Aeolus I enjoyed this heartfelt dada episode and found it very entertaining.

thanks anon

you aren't out of the loop - JDR is very little known teacher who travels about and answers questions in very spacey, abstract terms. You can find a few of his talks, or bits of them, on youtube, and read about his organization at www.johnderuiter.com

Thanks for the tip on his red ice production. I wrote to Mr. Levy a couple of years ago. His response was neither gracious nor understanding of the point I was trying to use as an intro. I chalked it up to either him having a bad day or my own lack of focus in presentation. Anyway connecting is a bitch, even if you know why. Catch-22, you say; ‘Everyone is hiding behind ego-projections of various styles’, and they say; ‘Shut the fuck up, you know nothing about my style.’ And then you say, ‘Well I know one thing about your style, thank-you very much and have a nice day’. Someday this will change.

And thanks anon 2:09 for your thoughts on JDR. I will take another look at his work. At any rate I have noticed this predicament of the Guru before and often the results have not been pretty.

Hi aeolus, that was really fun! In spite of the way I write, I am actually very right-brained and enjoyed your free association and the old movie and other sound bites immensely, stuff like that just feels good to me. And since the podcast was aimed at the right brain as well as the left, I am wondering if material from it will turn up in my dreams over the next few days...maybe jog something loose thats been waiting for a cue...who knows...time will tell. I emailed Paul Levy once to tell him about The Lucid View. He wrote back that he'd keep an eye out for it...don't know if he did or not, of course.
